Coding classes at Jungman - CODE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE

Star Fish Learning and Houston Public Library are offering coding classes at Jungman Neighborhood Library.

What is this?  

It is a beginner level coding classes. The classes consist of weekly courses over a 6-week period.

When?

Feb 10, 2018 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Introduction to Block language
Feb 17, 2018 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Coding with Star Wars
Feb 24, 2018 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: CS club activities – Storytelling with coding
Mar 10, 2018 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: CS club activities – Storytelling with coding 
Mar 24, 2018 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: CS Final project. Graduation

Who can participate?  

Anyone who has curiosity in computer science and desire to have fun with block coding. Recommended for children ages 8-12 but children of other ages are welcomed to attend.
No registration is needed.
